6/10 - 11

For our Taiwan trip, we are flying out to San Francisco first, then connecting to Taipei.

Kira came to send us off.

Our flight was delayed for close to an hour.

Our flight didn't fly out as planned because there was an issue with right engine. I was able to watch half of "The Housemaid" before we took off.

And our overlay is close to 6 hours. James and Bogdan went to look for food and they didn't come back till more than an hour after. They said they saw NBA playoff Game 4 so they stopped to watch the game. New York Knicks won the game after a crazy second half.

After they came back, Catherine and I went to the closest cafe and got 2 very overpriced sandwiches.

Bogdan's seat is nowhere near our seat and once the flight attendants were at the counter, I sent James and Bogdan to the counter to see if they can do something to help move Bogdan closer to us.

James, Catherine, and I were assigned to row 37 row. Bogdan was moved from row 49 to row 40 which was by the exits. There were no rows 38 and 39 so it was pretty close. I agreed to switch with Bogdan so the boys could sit together. After boarding was almost done, I saw an older guy getting situated next to Catherine so I approached him to switch seats with him since there wasn't a row in front of me so there is a lot of leg room. He agreed but then mentioned that he actually was separated from his wife and the flight attendants started to switch a series of passengers to try to make more of them happy.

When I was younger, I was able to start sleeping before taking off and wake up right before we land but... not any more, so I watched a lot of movies:
