6/15

Today is errand day with Dad!

The two goals for today are:

1. Make sure my bank account in Taiwan is not locked; apply for a new ATM card since I lost my previous one, and to have the bank APP active on my phone.

2. To have my passport photos taken so I can apply for my Mainland Travel Permit.

These two things might take the majority of the day so our friend, Wade, said that he would take the boys with his 13-year-old, JJ, to play pool. (We had been stopping by their place every night after we came back from our activities before we called it a night and last night, James and Bogdan were playing their youngest, Ray's kiddie pool table and showed lots of interest, so Wade said he would take them to play real pool today while I run these errands.)

We first went to get my passport photos done then we talked to the bank to take care of the above items. We spent a little more than an hour at the bank. Then we decided to have lunch first before we picked up my passport photos.

We picked up my passport photos then took the MRT to the travel agency. The lady we talked to said we had to include a couple more documents and sent us to the Household Registration Office and since it is not where we live, there is a lot of waiting time for the 2 offices to fax request applications and look for documents to fax back. We were able to make it back to the travel agency before they close at 4:30pm. Fingers crossed that I don't have to request any additional documents.
