The boys played basketball with JJ this morning like they agreed to. But since there is a heat advisory in effect, they only played for maybe an hour then they went back to JJ's place to play mahjong.
Not sure if it was the humidity or the carb-heavy diet, we don't get hungry easily. Catherine and I got some tea boiled eggs and that was our breakfast.
Since it is so hot and humid today, Judy wanted us to try the Asian shaved ice by her house. She sent an Uber to Tangquan to pick up up and we went to this one famous shaved ice place near her apartment and it was packed!!!! We were in line for more than 30 minutes! And coincidently, one of my friends came to get some shaved ice as well so we waited in line together. They ordered to dine in and we ordered to go. We walked to Judy's apartment and ate the shaved ice there but then we had to head over to Qizhang Station to meet my dad for dinner.
Dinner was at Quiyuan Restaurant, a restaurant that cooks Shanghainese cuisine. My sisters-in-law haven't seen my dad for a while so they wanted to have a meal together while I am here.
After dinner, Catherine and I went home and the boys went to play mahjong at JJ's again.
