Today is another heat advisory day. We were truly luck the first 6 days that we were in Taiwan. They were all cloudy days and it rained afternoon in 4 of those days. It never fails that the weather becomes hot and sticky on Dragon Festival Day. So ever since last Friday, the typical hot, humid summer days started!
Ilina came to pick us up to head to Shimen Reservoir. Lawrence drove in another car with Eunice and Esther and followed behind us.
The view is stunning but it sure was hot. We hung out and took photos by the gazebo (?).
We then headed to the cafe for some afternoon tea but since we only had an easy breakfast, we went ahead and ordered some entrees. The cafe is right by the reservoir so it has a great view and it is also a cat cafe. We only saw 3 cats but apparently there are lots of cats in the cafe. No wonder we saw people bring cat snack tubes to feed them.
We drove back to Taoyuan for dinner and ate at a Japanese style buffet.
