Today is travel day! We are going to Osaka, Japan for five days!!!
I haven't been back to Taiwan for 11 years so I also haven't traveled out of Taiwan for 11 years as well. Once we got passed security that was when I remembered that we were supposed to eat at the restaurants upstairs before going through security. The boys were able to find some restaurants though and they ordered beef stew noodle soup.
The flight to Osaka, Japan through EVA Airline was really nice. I was able to nap a little before I started watching a movie. I felt like I was not able to map comfortably on United.
This is everyone's first time in Osaka, Japan so our TSA experience was not as smooth since everything was in Japanese. We started filling out our arrival cards but didn't complete them so we had to do that real quick on the spot. We had no problem getting our luggage but we missed the airport limousine that would take us directly to our hotel so we had to take a taxi and it was very pricy! It cost us a little more than 22,00 yens!!!
Our hotel is Liber Hotel Osaka and it is a very nice hotel. It is the last hotel on the street but it is right across from the Sakurajima Station, so it is very convenient. There is a 7-11 that is one block away and a Lawson that is two blocks away. Catherine learned how to call the boys' room from our room!
